More global weirding
It snowed again last night. It's over a month since the equinox. The landscape is photogenic enough for Christmas cards. (sheesh) The local PBS weather guy calls this "global weirding." Sounds about right to me.

I feel bad for all the farmers who bought drought resistant seed this year. Gotta think those seeds won't plant well in rice paddy conditions.
ReplyDeleteGood point! Although they may still get the last laugh. After all, here in Rice County, we had over seven inches of rain in June last year followed by almost no rain for the next six months. We have such a moisture deficit to make up, I think most of this is going straight into the ground. Went out driving the other day and saw almost no standing water.
