President's golfing buddies are banksters

That picture a few weeks ago of the President playing golf included in the the President's group UBS Americas president Robert Wolf. UBS, formerly Union Bank of Switzerland, is the outfit that hired former Texas Senator Phil Gramm, who shepherded through the now infamous December 2000 deregulation of financial derivatives markets. It was also UBS that last year cut a deal to reveal the names of 4,500 of its American clients that had used UBS to hide money from the IRS - leaving untouched about 45,000 others tax evaders and tax cheats.

It amazes me that this golf outing did not cause a lot of outrage.
