These wind turbines were photographed in Cottonwood County Minnesota. They are Suzlons. Suzlon opened a factory in nearby Pipestone to make parts for this thing so this farmer is a believer in buying locally. But what is so fascinating here is how carefully he has covered his land for the winter--that carpet of chopped cornstalks on the ground didn't happen by accident. This guy walks the walk when it comes to conservation practices.
