...Hey Jonathan--
I was catching up on my reading--

Reading your link to Der Spiegel-- (http://www.spiegel.de/international/business/0,1518,781590,00.html)
--it occurs that gov'ts have lost any ability to stop its financial sector, and the financial sector has lost the ability to control its investment portion (self-control is not working due to their own greed and herd mentality). Thus the concluding statement of the article expresses they WILL (not might) cause another economic crash and responsible leaders feel helpless.

Banksters have resolved to treat the world economy as a casino, where they can use any and all tricks to beat without anyone to stop them...so let's do what a casino does--create a separate coin/currency for the gamblers to gamble/invest with--and as the house we can manage the value based on the societal ROI of their investment decisions.

If their decisions add value, the exchange rate can be favorable; but at any time their decisions are crashing society, the house can reduce the exchange rate to reduce the pressure on the real economy--the real banking, the real companies, and the real people.

In effect--a Glass-Steagel re-division of investment from real banking, and gov't regulation control to keep the real economy insulated from the money-for-nothing bankster element. Certainly then there will be less attraction to toss money into the casino of hedge, derivative, short-selling, and fake development schemes--and it can be brought back into job creation ventures.

If not...then I believe the new coin/currency option is for a community currency, which is needed to provide local communities, who are willing and able to act responsibly in their banking activities, an outlet insulated from Wall Street's anti-societal schemes.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05252804186064393926noreply@blogger.com
