The problem with Chile wasn't its leftist government, but the unique economical decisions and intentions of the given government.
A little bit more on the tragedy of the first 9/11:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Cybersyn
and
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJ6orMfmorg
and
http://www.theguardian.com/technology/2003/sep/08/sciencenews.chile
It is hardly imaginable what could be done by the sheer calculating power of a just single modern day ordinary smartphone running national economy, not to mention contemporary super computers. Compared to Victor Glushkov's and Stafford Beer's visionary ideas on how to change the way the economy works, Neoliberalism sounds like sick joke. Those two guys were the prime examples of the producer class geniuses that got stucked in the predatory environment. It is impossible to solve enviromental problems without the radical change in the industrial technology. I'm convinced that elite leasure class made decision to allow appliance of the informatic technology only in the sphere of spending and not in the sphere of production. I suppose that's the main reason why we now enjoy the boon of the internet. Beside that, the institution of money also should be changed in sense it should be personalised and funcitonally differentiated. The very institutional design of the present-day money inevietablly causes the phenomenon of corruption in the political structures of the State and it's the main hinderance to the people's freedom from the influence of the leisure class. The money itself isn't inherently evil. It only should be changed.
Where to find the sufficient social force to overcome all of those backward neoliberal tendencies, I really don't know. IMHO, it's going to be the main task for humanity in the 21 century.
Stay wellAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03983489531864635914noreply@blogger.com
